Portrait of Dr. Nimmy Mathew, home-visit physiotherapist in Kothanur, Bengaluru

A blend of manual precision & ethical care.

My approach is defined by the “Editorial” philosophy — curating a recovery path that respects both clinical evidence and the human narrative. We don’t just treat symptoms; we restore movement through intentionality.

Holistic insight

Focusing on the whole person — mapping lifestyles and stressors that contribute to injury.

Patient-first care

Shaped by years in government primary-care, special-school, and palliative home-care — where the person always comes before the protocol.

The Professional Journey

Dr. Nimmy began her clinical training with internships at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru — a 1,350-bed multispecialty teaching hospital — and at the Co-Operative Institute of Health Science, Thalassery. Early exposure to palliative home-care with IRPC, Kannur, shaped her belief that recovery is as much about presence as it is about protocol.

She went on to serve at Karunya Hospital, Iritty, provided therapy at Vikas Bhavan Special School, Edoor, and spent nearly five years at the Government Primary Health Centre, Angadikadavu — treating a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative cases across all age groups.

Home-visit physiotherapy, Anagalapura (Kothanur) & nearby

After a year at LivActiv, Dr. Nimmy is moving her practice to DS Max Springfield, Phase 3, Anagalapura (Kothanur, 560077) — now offering dedicated home-visit physiotherapy across Hennur, Thanisandra, Jakkur, Yelahanka, Kalyan Nagar, Horamavu and HBR Layout. Care delivered on your schedule, in your space, in any of English, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil or Hindi.

Her practice rests on a simple belief: physiotherapy should be a curated, editorial experience — where the patient’s voice is the primary narrative and clinical evidence is the supporting framework.

Restoring movement, preserving dignity.
